# color/alpha Get or set a color's alpha channel (0-255). With one argument returns the current alpha as a number; with two returns a new color with the alpha set. ## Syntax

[color/alpha $color]
[color/alpha $color $a]

## Examples

[color/alpha "#ff000080"]       # 128
[color/alpha "#ff0000" 128]     # "#ff000080"
[color/alpha "#ff0000" 0]       # "#ff000000" — fully transparent

## Returns One arg: alpha as a number 0-255. Two args: `"#rrggbb"` hex string, or `"#rrggbbaa"` when translucent. nil when the color is unparseable. ## See Also `color/fade`, `color/parse`
