# config/load Load registry entries from a Deft map file, replacing the current registry contents. The file must be a flat `%{ "dotted/key" value }` map whose values are valid Deft literals. ## Syntax

[config/load ?path]

## Parameters - `?path` — (optional) config file path, defaults to `.deft/config.dft`. ## Examples

[config/load]                          # .deft/config.dft
[config/load ".deft/overrides.dft"]

## Returns Boolean — `true` on success, `false` on read/parse failure. Existing registry entries are replaced, not merged. ## See Also `config/save`, `config/save-overrides`, `config/scan`
