# config/set Store a value under a key in the global config registry, replacing any prior value. Publishes a change event on the `"config"` pub/sub topic. ## Syntax

[config/set "key" value]

## Parameters - `"key"` — hierarchical registry key (string or keyword), e.g. `"log/max-lines"`. - `value` — any stringifiable data (scalars, strings, keywords, collections). Function values are stored by name. ## Examples

[config/set "log/max-lines" 1000]
[config/set "editor/font" "Mono 12"]

## Returns The stored value. Subscribers on the `"config"` pub/sub topic receive `%{ :key :value :old }` under `:data`. ## See Also `config/get`, `config/unset`, `config/save`
