# crypto/hex-decode Decode a hexadecimal string back to raw bytes. ## Syntax

[crypto/hex-decode $hex]

## Parameters - `$hex` — Hex string to decode (must have even length; max 8192 chars) ## Examples

[crypto/hex-decode "68656c6c6f"]    # "hello"
[crypto/hex-decode $hex]
