# dbus/disconnect
Close a connection's transport. Pending calls and name registrations reject
with `%Err{:message "connection closed"}`; `dbus/info` afterwards reports
`:state :failed`. The resource struct survives until GC, so calling
`dbus/disconnect` twice is safe.
## Syntax
[dbus/disconnect $conn]
## Parameters
- `$conn` — connection from `dbus/connect`
## Examples
[dbus/disconnect $conn] [dbus/info $conn] # → %{:state :failed ...}
## Returns
`nil`; `%Err{:message}` when the argument is not a dbus connection.
Without a VM context the call is a no-op.
