# hypr/call Send a command on Hyprland's command socket and return a Future for the raw reply line. `j/`-prefixed commands return JSON (parse with `json/parse`); others return `"ok"` or an error string. Replies are matched to calls FIFO. ## Syntax

[hypr/call $h $cmd ...]

## Parameters - `$h` — connection from `hypr/connect` - `$cmd` — command string; additional string args are joined with spaces ## Examples

set win [json/parse [await [hypr/call $h "j/activewindow"]]]
# → %{:class "kitty" :title "deft" ...}

[await [hypr/call $h "dispatch" "exec" "foo"]]   # → "ok"
