# hypr/send Send a command on the command socket, discarding the reply. A placeholder keeps the reply FIFO aligned with later `hypr/call`s. ## Syntax

[hypr/send $h "dispatch exec foo"]

## Parameters - `$h` — connection from `hypr/connect` - `$cmd` — command string; extra string args are joined with spaces ## Examples

[hypr/send $h "dispatch exec kitty"]
