# runtime/spawn Spawn a `.dft` file in a child runtime on a dedicated OS thread (non-blocking). ## Syntax

[runtime/spawn $name $path ?$params]

## Parameters - `$name` — child runtime name - `$path` — `.dft` file path to run - `$params` — optional map injected as globals in the child runtime ## Examples

[runtime/spawn "worker" "scripts/process.dft" %{ :limit 100 }]
