# tui/mount-widget Mount a Deft widget as an event-handling child of a panel's component tree. Unlike `tui/mount` (mounts a whole component instance as panel content), this attaches a single widget that participates in target-phase dispatch. ## Syntax

[tui/mount-widget panel-id-or-tag widget]

## Parameters - `panel-id-or-tag` — numeric panel ID or string tag (resolved via find-panel) - `widget` — tagged-map widget value to mount as a child ## Examples

[tui/mount-widget [tui/self] %TextInput{ :id "msg" :text "" }]
