# array-of
Create a mutable flat array of `$n` copies of `$fill` in a single allocation.
Size `0` yields `@{}`; a fractional `$n` truncates toward zero.
## Syntax
[array-of $n $fill]
## Parameters
- `$n` — Size (number). `%Err{:message expected number argument}` when not a number.
- `$fill` — Value copied into every slot.
## Examples
[array-of 3 :x] # → @{:x :x :x} [array-of 2 7] # → @{7 7} [array-of 0 :x] # → @{}
## Returns
A mutable flat array with `$n` slots all holding `$fill`; use `aget`/`aset` to
read and mutate, or `replicate` for an immutable vector.
