# compress/gunzip Decompress gzip-encoded bytes. Returns the original bytes. ## Syntax

[compress/gunzip $bytes]

## Parameters - `$bytes` — Gzip-encoded input (as returned by `compress/gzip`) ## Examples

[compress/gunzip $gz-bytes]
[compress/gunzip [compress/gzip "hello"]]    # "hello"
