# keymap/get Look up one binding in the global keymap without any mode fallback. Returns the bound command name, or `nil` when unbound. This is raw access — use `keymap/lookup` for keypress-time resolution. ## Syntax
[keymap/get "app" "mode" "chord"]
## Parameters - `app` — app name (string or keyword) - `mode` — mode such as `"default"`, `"vi"`, `"emacs"` (string or keyword) - `chord` — canonical chord string, e.g. `"ctrl-s"` or `"page_up"` (string or keyword) ## Examples
[keymap/get "editor" "default" "ctrl-s"] # → "cmd-save"
[keymap/get :editor :vi :ctrl-s] # → "cmd-save"
[keymap/get "editor" "vi" "f"] # → nil — unbound in this mode
## Returns The bound command string, or `nil`. `%Err{:message}` when any argument is missing or not a string/keyword. ## See Also `keymap/lookup`, `keymap/set`, `keymap/scan`
