# pretty Pretty-print a value to stderr with indentation and line breaks. Renders maps, lists, sets, and nested structures in a human-readable form. Short collections are kept on one line; longer or nested ones are expanded. ## Syntax
[pretty $val ?indent]
## Parameters - `$val` — value to pretty-print - `?indent` — optional indent width in spaces (number, default `2`) ## Examples
[pretty %{ :a 1 :b @{"x" "y"} }]
[pretty $big-map 4]
## Returns `nil`. Output goes to stderr (or to the active echo buffer when captured, e.g. inside the debug server's eval handler). ## See Also `pretty-str`, `str`, `echo`
