# tui/dock/close Close the calling panel's dock region; the app content expands back over the carved area. Fires the app's `dock-close` method. ## Syntax

## Examples

[tui/dock/close]   # e.g. from a menu action or mode switch

## Returns bool — true when the close request was queued; false under the same workspace/panel guards as `tui/dock/open` (no workspace, docks disabled, dead or popped panel).
