# tui/dock/focus Give the dock keyboard focus: key and text events route to the app's `dock-event` method with `:dock true`, and the panel's widget tree / `on-key` path is suspended until `tui/dock/blur` or a click on the panel content. ## Syntax

## Returns bool — true when the request was queued; false under the same workspace/panel guards as `tui/dock/open`.
