# tui/font The currently applied font — the file path behind the workspace cell grid and the pixel size it was rasterized at. ## Syntax

## Returns A map, or `nil` when no workspace is attached: | Key | Type | Description | | --- | ---- | ----------- | | `:path` | string | Font file path (e.g. `/usr/share/fonts/jetbrains-mono-fonts/JetBrainsMono-Regular.otf`) | | `:size` | number | Pixel size | ## Notes - Reflects the startup resolution (prelude `:font` or `--font` / `--size`) as well as every later change: `tui/set-font` applies and interactive Ctrl+= / Ctrl+- zoom steps. - Reads the workspace's current-font record (written by the host main thread), so it is safe from any app thread. - GL hosts only (retro / hydra); the ANSI host (`retra`) has no font of its own and returns `nil`. ## See Also `tui/set-font`, `tui/font-list`, `tui/cell-size`
