# tui/set-child-text Set the text content of a mounted child widget via its `Editable.set-text` protocol method. ## Syntax

[tui/set-child-text panel-id-or-tag child-idx text]

## Parameters - `panel-id-or-tag` — numeric panel ID or string tag (resolved via find-panel) - `child-idx` — zero-based index of the mounted child widget - `text` — new text content ## Examples

[tui/set-child-text [tui/self] 0 "hello"]
