# tui/set-widget-tree Register the calling panel's widget-tree ref for framework-driven target-phase dispatch. The framework runs the focused-widget / hit-test target phase before the panel's typed event methods, turning it into a pure bubble handler. ## Syntax

## Parameters - `ref` — ref holding the panel's widget tree ## Examples

[tui/set-widget-tree $widget-state]   # in on-init
