# tui/set-theme Apply one of the loaded themes by display name (e.g. `"Dracula"`). The switch is deferred to the host main loop. ## Syntax
[tui/set-theme name]
## Parameters - `name` — theme display name (string or keyword, 1–64 bytes) ## Examples
[tui/set-theme "Dracula"]
[tui/set-theme :Nord]
## Returns bool — true when the switch was queued; false when no workspace is attached, the name is missing, empty, or over 64 bytes. The main loop silently no-ops when no loaded theme matches the name. Drained by `retro`, `retra`, and `hydra`; hosts with no workspace are no-ops. ## See Also `tui/theme-reload`, `tui/theme`, `theme/list`, `theme/current`
